This is an example of a pdf with this problem: it does show everything correctly in the preview on the Adobe CC-site, but when you download the file into Acrobat, you'll get the message mentioned above. So: should we change our font sets from postscript type 1 to truetype? Using truetype seems to be a solution, but then we need to substitute all our texts in older documents with the truetype font. I see various posts on forums concerning this problem, and i assume that these problems occur with different programs that generate pdf's. and it also doesn't when we use DIN truetype font the problem doesn't occur in version 10.1.12, only in 10.1.13 so, it seems to occur only with DIN fonts and there is no text visible (other fonts or parts of the lay-out do show, though). Some characters may not display or print correctly'. Some characters may not display or print correctly'. Then, when we export the file as a pdf, the font does not display in Acrobat 10.1.13 when you open the file, you get this message: 'Cannot extract the embedded font 'FMZLPY + DIN-Light'. Then, when we export the file as a pdf, the font does not display in Acrobat 10.1.13 when you open the file, you get this message: 'Cannot extract the embedded font 'FMZLPY + DIN-Light'. We have this same problem when we use our Vector Works drawing program we use the DIN font which is a postscript Type 1 font.
